4x14 - “If you want a beginning and a middle and an end, I have 27 novels you can choose from.”

This scene was so great. I love how sucked in she got in such a short amount of time. And I love that he read it as if he had an ending and then just stops. 

Also, brilliant plot twist to have the journal be incomplete. It made the rest of the episode seem more believable and interesting. Instead of, “Hey, just read this journal and you’ll find it.” It gave them just enough clues to do some good old fashioned sleuthing of their own.
